Loon Mountain Ski Area contracted with Horizons to work with an established mountain bike park builder to provide survey, design, permitting, and monitoring services for a multi-phase downhill mountain bike park. Phase I and 2 began construction in the spring of 2020. Horizons has been contracted for a third phase which is anticipated to result in approximately 20 miles of machine-built lift-served mountain bike terrain for a wide range of ability levels.
