Horizons has been the primary Civil Engineer for the Owl’s Nest Resort in Thornton, NH since 2016. This is a multi-phase development of160 acres. Communication is a key component for this large team environment with multiple stakeholders.
Engineering support for the construction of a new Large Community Water System. Project elements include; design and construction of over 5,000-feet of water main.
Groundwater exploration effort and testing to identify three (3) favorable locations for the construction of high-yielding overburden production wells.
Design and permitting of new 9 hole short course golf course
Water distribution main design and permitting with a separate dedicated fire suppression main design
Design and permitting for multiple onsite septic disposal systems
